My name is Lauran De Coster and I’m the girl behind BonneBouche. In July 2022, I started BonneBouch3 as a place where I wanted to share different trendy food spots.
At some point, something clicked in me, and I thought 'I have to do this'. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that this would be such a success, but here we are. On BonneBouche, food is central. For me, it should always be of high quality and be number 1. Furthermore, I also highlight the setting and interior. We always want to know what to expect, right? There is nothing better than a restaurant with good food and a nice interior.
But in my opinion, interior should never come first. It’s a nice addition, but I prefer to sit in a restaurant where they don't put any effort into the interior with crazy good food than vice versa. In addition to trendy food spots, I like to draw attention to the hidden gems. Unknown, casual, laid-back and low-key, because this is often a bit harder to find, right? I love a good local restaurant with plastic tablecloths and a homey vibe. Sometimes you don't need more. I often receive questions about how I’m able to obtain quality on my page. I wanted to clear the air and say that I only share restaurants that meet a minimum quality. I don't like to write mean things, so if it's not good it won't appear on my page.
