Brood en Spelen is an authentic and artisanal bakery in the city center of Antwerp, near ‘de Grote Markt’. Everything is homemade and super fresh, and they have the beeest pastries and cakes in town. Please stop by whenever you’re around, these kinds of bakeries are rare! The bakery itself is small, and its interior is suuuuper cozy and retro. When you enter, you feel like you walk right into a classic movie. It’s possible to eat-in, but tables are limited. There are three tables inside, and they have a small table in front outside. If you find a table, it’s possible to have breakfast, a cup of coffee or a yummy sandwich for lunch. The owners are very friendly, and their bread, tarte tatin mini cakes and croissants are to die for. Price for a coffee, croissant and jam is €8,8. Price for a continental breakfast is €19,9. Price for a royal breakfast is €29,9. Prices for sandwiches are between from €6,85 to €9,35. Prices for bread are between €3 and €4,2. Prices for pastries are between €3,5 and €4,9. Prices for cakes are between €2,2 and €3,2.
