Jackie
Jackie is a restaurant in one of the coziest streets in Antwerp, ‘de Kloosterstraat’. They’re open for lunch and dinner and serve Belgian-Italian cuisine. Their menu includes classic Belgian brasserie dishes such as cheese croquettes, vol-au-vent, and beef stew for example, but they also serve Italian pastas and several suggestions. Everything is seasonal, super fresh and exactly how it should be. + What’s good to know: it’s not only a restaurant, you can also stop by to just have some tapas or drinks. The interior of Jackie is a bit retro and classic bistro-like. It’s so cozy. I really love their wooden benches. They made them all themselves! They also have a cute terrace in front. PS: the restaurant is owned by the same owners as the café @inderoscam on the cozy square ‘de Vrijdagmarkt’. Prices for apero bites are between €4 and €19. Prices for starters are between €7 and €19. Prices for mains are around €22. Prices for desserts are around €11. Prices for lunch dishes are between €7 and €18. Prices for wines by the glass are between €6 and €8. • Vol-au-vent with fries• Pasta asparagus with guanciale• White wine• Rose wine• Tiramisu• Coupe Colonel• Mini eggplant parmigiana (suggestion)
