Mistral
Mistral is the cutest authentic French restaurant in the old city center of Antwerp. It’s one of the smallest and coziest restaurants in Antwerp. It’s literally and figuratively a hidden gem. The restaurant is hidden in a small street in the heart of Antwerp, often only locals know the restaurant. They serve Provencal cuisine and are open for dinner. Their menu includes characteristic Provencal dishes, gently and carefully prepared with fresh local ingredients according to the rules of the art. Fresh sardines from Marseille, Niçoise salad, cheese fondue, … Every month they also serve a different Provencal suggestion menu. PS: The chef owner always had a great love for Provence. She always had a house there with her parents where they enjoyed Provencal cuisine. The restaurant itself is super small and intimate. It has a real Provencal atmosphere. The interior is SO CUTE. Everything is so original and authentic. I really love their open kitchen, their stove and their tablecloths. They really transport you to Provence. And don’t forget to look outside! There is a beautiful view of the iconic cathedral. Prices for salads are between €11,5 and €23,95. Prices for hot starters are between €17,95 and €29,95.
