Bar Pêche
Bar Pêche is one of the most popular restaurants in the south of Antwerp. It’s thé place to be. Most locals know that getting a reservation here can be quite tricky. Bookings open daily for dates up to 4 months in advance. The restaurant serves seasonal dishes made with heart, and they’re open for both lunch and dinner. The menu changes weekly and stays deliberately small: 3 starters, 3 mains, and 3 desserts. Only one dish has a permanent place on the menu: their famous dame blanche (which is insanely good!!). They work exclusively with fresh, daily products. The concept isn’t about sharing plates, but rather choosing your own starter, main, and dessert. To complement the food, they offer a great selection of classic and natural wines. The interior is colorful and super trendy. I especially love their bold orange branding. The restaurant is located on a corner and has a cozy, intimate feel. The vibe is informal and homey. In summer, the terrace opens up, making it the perfect spot to enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors. Prices for starters are between €18 and €21. Prices for mains are between €28 and €32. Prices for desserts are between €14 and €16. Prices for wines by the glass are between €8 and €9. Prices for apero drinks are between €12 and €13. • Mussel - tomato - burrata• Tartare - watermelon - shiso• Orange wine• Dame blanche• Fregola - ratatouille - eggplant
