Café Commercial
Café Commercial is a restaurant by chef Davy Schellemans from @veranda_antwerp in the north of Antwerp. They serve small plates to share (or not), a wide range of natural wines, beers, and more. Every plate is seasonal and super fresh. They call themselves “a restaurant with a café’s attitude or a café with a restaurant’s attitude”. That’s so true. The interior and overall vibe are oldschool café-like, and their food is top notch. Their interior is so cool. Think retro interior, brown pub vibes, but then add neon lights. A surprising but epic combination. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and since it’s quite small, it is also super intimate. During summer, they also have a terrace. Prices for small plates are between €8 and €18. Prices for desserts are between €8 and €13. Prices for wines by the glass are between €6,5 and €8.
