Tanker
Tanker is a neighborhood bistro with a heart for local farming, soul food & vinyl in Antwerp-Linkeroever. The restaurant brings a fresh take on the classic rock & roll bistro. They work with ingredients from farmers in ‘het Waasland’ and collaborate with small local partners to keep the chain as short as possible. The kitchen is young, creative, and modern, with a playful nod to the rock & roll bistro vibe—reinterpreted in a renewed way. Tanker combines bold flavors with a hip atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking for something casual yet innovative. They’re open for apero and dinner, offer catering, and also organize different events. The interior is a bit retro and so homey. It’s located near the water, so overall vibes are super cozy. On sunny days, their terrace is the perfect spot to sit outside. I really love how laid-back and casual it all feels. Prices for snacks and apero bites are between €2,5 and €14.
