Boëna
Boëna is a Mediterranean restaurant and deli-shop in the heart of Wilrijk, Antwerp. They serve the food of the modern-day middle east and bring great flavors and colorful dishes to the table. They do both lunch and dinner, and on Sundays, they do brunch (this was their dinner)! Their terrace is super cosy and big, and their interior is also super lovely. Prices for small bites go from €4,5 to €12. Prices for dips go from €12 to €15. Prices for greens go from €12 to €16. Prices for meat and fish go from €14 to €32. Prices for sides go from €4,5 to €15. Prices for desserts go from €9 to €10. • Challa with tomato & tahini• Fava dip (mashed fava, fire-roasted aubergine and bell pepper, Lebanese bread)• Spiced Pear Mule cocktail• 2x Gin Fizz (virgin) cocktail• Roasted sweet potato (sour cream, peanut crunch, fresh herbs)• Cauliflower miso (cauliflower, miso tahina, peanut crunch, fresh herbs)• Slow cooked lamb shoulder (slow-cooked lamb, sweet potato puree, amba)• Seabass crudo (raw sea bass, avocado, cucumber, dill yogurt)• Sticky toffee (pastry of dates, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce) (this was to DIE FOR!)• honestly everything was DELICIOUS!
