Ferri
Ferri is an organic restaurant open for dinner in Ghent-Dampoort. It’s a seasonal cuisine with a selection of natural wine and artisanal drinks. You have the option to go for a fish or a vegetarian menu, the menu itself is fixed. The beautiful thing is that the restaurant supports small-scale agricultural businesses. What you order is harvested from the field and a few days later it is on your plate. Their organic supplier farmer Jens has his own farm but also collects products from different farms for us. This way they work locally and are still able to choose from a wide range. They are also very conscious of product quality when choosing their fish and opt for sustainable fishing. For example, they will only work with small Belgian fishing boats. The restaurant itself is small and sooo cozy. Their interior and terrace are to die for. The blue and yellow elements, the leaded windows, the tiled floor. Everything is so cute. Price for the 5-course fish menu is €55. Price for the 5-course vegetarian menu is €50. Price for the 3 matched wines is €25. Prices for wines by the glass are between €7 and €12. Prices for cocktails are between €12 and €13. 5-course fish menu:• Cuttlefish, grilled pepper, and Vietnamese coriander• Hokkaido pumpkin and tahini• Orange wine• Apple cider mule• Fazzoletti, smoked mushrooms and walnuts• Monkfish, mussels and sweet potato• Lemon verbena sorbet and pear
