Bloemberen is an organic sourdough bakery and a real established value in Antwerp. It’s a bakery, and they also have a small menu for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Their menu is fixed, but they also have specials every now and then. On Saturdays, their menu is slightly more extensive than on weekdays. In terms of bread, they offer spelt and rye. Everything they serve is so fresh and high-quality. You can definitely taste that they make everything themselves. Besides food, they serve coffee from @rushrushcoffee , homemade lemonades, wine, and more. Every now and then they also organize events like pizza nights and such. Super fun. Many bars and restaurants in Antwerp serve @_bloemberen ‘s bread. That says enough, right? The bakery is located along the take-off planes from Deurne airport in an old school building. The interior of Bloemberen is cozy and a bit retro. Especially their garden and terrace are really worth it. It’s a green oasis with picnic tables in the garden and an abundance of plants and flowers. When the sun’s out, you should definitely enjoy their outside.
