Cannolo
Cannolo is a Sicilian street food concept by @arrikiiati located in the city center of Antwerp. Connolo obviously serves cannoli, but also offers a selection of original, classic, and typical Sicilian street food, combined with qualitative crafts products and natural wines to eat in or take out. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, and you can choose to eat à la carte or go for a contemporary street food experience menu. They follow seasonality and really focus on quality. Most of their products are organic, local, and environmentally friendly. They work with local suppliers and organic farmers. Everything you will eat here, is homemade and delicious. Their overall atmosphere is casual, just like their interior, which also has a slightly retro feeling. During summer, they also have a cute terrace. Price for the contemporary street food experience menu (4 courses) is €39. I really recommend taking the experience menu. You get to enjoy more than what’s on the menu. Prices for à la carte starters are between €5,5 and €15. Prices for à la carte mains are between €12 and €15,5. Prices for à la carte desserts are around €6,5. • Explosive olives• Panelle street art Banksy style (fritters with pistachio and almond pesto)• Arancini (risotto balls: classic ragu and Sicilian cheese)• Crispella (fried pizza dough, ricotta, herring caviar, pancetta)• Mamma’s egg (hot dish of organic eggs, cooked in bio tomato passata, smoked buffala mozzarella & ricotta salata)• Pane Cunzatu (La Mufuletta: Sicilian American version of pastrami sandwich)• 2x Etna Spritz cocktail (Etna Bitter, sparkling wine, cactus fruit)• Cannolo (classic and pistachio)• Rhubarb juice (rose, cardamom)• La Vie En Rose tea (black tea with rose buds)
