Flipper’s is thé In-N-Out–style burger spot in Brussels-Ixelles. Their menu features 6 different burgers, including veggie options, along with fries, loaded fries, chicken nuggets, and onion rings. And can we talk about the fries? So crunchy. They also serve delicious homemade, California-style drinks and sauces: basically everything you’d expect from a California-inspired burger joint. Cookies and ice cream are on the menu too. You can order items separately or go for a full menu. Flipper’s is super family-friendly: there’s a kid’s menu, games to play, and even contests organized by the restaurant. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’re transported to an ’80s California burger spot. The blue floor was inspired by the California sky, and all the details, red-and-white tiles, neon lights, palm trees, really complete the vibe. I especially love their iconic retro mascot, Flipper the dolphin. Total nostalgia. PS: They’re open for lunch and dinner, and in summer you can enjoy a cozy terrace.
