Hiro
Hiro is a Japanese restaurant and bar in the north of Antwerp. It’s more like an izakaya, a type of informal Japanese bar that serves alcoholic drinks and snacks. Hiro is open for lunch and dinner and serves barfood, sushi, various suggestions, and an extensive drinks menu with delicious sake. They serve high-quality products, and everything is suuuper fresh. You can either go for a menu or eat à la carte. It’s even possible to just have drinks and some barfood. Their interior is simple and overall vibes are casual, intimate, and laid-back. They want to deliver quality products but still be accessible. The restaurant has more of a ‘bar’ or ‘café’ vibe. A rough setting where the music is a bit louder. PS: During the summer they also have a terrace with a beautiful view of ‘het MAS’! Prices for barfood are between €6 and €18. Prices for sushi are between €3 and €15. Prices for suggestions are between €6 and €28. Price for the omakase tasting menu is €125. Prices for desserts are around €9. Prices for wines by the glass are between €11 and €18.
