Mero
Mero is a fine-dining restaurant in the south of Antwerp. It offers an intimate dining experience with a strong focus on purity and thoughtful seasonal cuisine. The menu can be enjoyed as a refined 6 or 7 course tasting menu or à la carte, with the freedom to choose your starter, main course and dessert when ordering à la carte. Each dish is built around one or two key ingredients that truly take the lead, keeping the plates clean, honest, and without unnecessary embellishments. The cuisine is a coming together of all the countries where the chef has worked. Originally from Albania and raised in Greece, the chef gained experience in acclaimed restaurants such as Noma and The Jane, which is reflected in a style that feels both personal and internationally inspired. To accompany the food, Mero offers carefully adapted wine pairings for each course, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, alongside an extensive wine list that is thoughtfully selected to match the dishes. The atmosphere is personal and intimate, with a warm interior that enhances the experience, while guests are given detailed explanations at the table, adding an extra layer of connection to each course. During summer guests can enjoy dinner on the terrace. PS: They are open from Thursday to Monday from 6pm. Prices for the 6 and 7-course menu are €95 and €110.
