Smudged
Smudged is a restaurant and listening bar in the city center of Antwerp. They’re open in the evening and serve great food, wines, cocktails, and good music. Their menu includes small and big plates, you can share them, but you don't have to because their portions are heavy and filling enough. The restaurant offers something for every wallet. You can go all out, but you can also quickly order 1 dish and have enough. Part of the menu is signature and fixed, but part also changes regularly. They serve a different daily special every other day. PS: veggie options are limited but available! What’s epic to me, is that there’s someone present who is in charge of the sound. And during the weekend, DJs always turn the restaurant into a disco. The interior of Smudged is STUNNING. It feels like you just stepped into a 70’s movie scene. Their vinyl DJ booth, bar, and open kitchen are so cool. Even the toilet is awesome. During summer, they also have a terrace. Prices for small plates are between €8 and €18. Prices for big plates are between €19 and €34. Prices for desserts are between €12 and €16. Prices for wines by the glass are between €7,5 and €12. Prices for cocktails are between €12 and €13,5. Prices for beers are between €3 and €10. • BBQ oyster – chives – buttermilk (extra caviar)• Scallop – Jerusalem artichoke• Scotch egg arancini (half)• Whiskey Soda (Monkey shoulder – vanilla – soda)• Shepherd’s pie – apple and pear compote• Orange wine (Fricando)• Basque ‘burnt’ cheesecake – citrus marmalade
