Sombat is a private home restaurant in the Markgrave neighborhood in Antwerp. The restaurant is open for dinner and serves authentic Thai cuisine. They serve a fix 4-course menu that changes every month. But what is a home restaurant? A home restaurant is when a home and kitchen are turned into a restaurant. The Thai host receives his guests in his private residence, which has been adapted to comfortably serve as a restaurant. The overall vibe is super homey and cozy. There are even turtles running around in the garden, so cute. Also, their beautiful pond in the middle of their gorgeous secret garden will immediately attract attention. It’s a real unique experience, go and try it out. Price for the 4-course menu is €59. Prices for wines by the glass are around €5.
